Who we are

This policy explains what we collect when you use marriage.empoweredman.co and our other websites, assessments, forms, emails, and text messages (together, the “Services”), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
- Assessment responses. Your answers to the questions in our marriage assessment and any other quiz, form, or survey you complete.
- Contact details. Name, email address, and phone number if you provide one.
- Booking and call information. Scheduling details, and notes our team takes during a call with you.
- Anything else you send us. Emails, text messages, form comments, and support requests.
You are not required to give us any of this. If you do not, we cannot send you your results or contact you.
Information we collect automatically
When you visit, we and our providers collect: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, time on page, clicks, and cookie or similar identifiers. We use cookies, pixels, and local storage for this.
Information from third parties
If you reach us through an ad, the advertising platform may tell us which campaign or ad you clicked. Our advertising and analytics providers may also give us aggregated or inferred information about visitors.
How we use your information
- Score your assessment and deliver your results
- Contact you by email, phone, or text about your results and our programs
- Schedule and conduct calls
- Provide, operate, and improve the Services
- Measure ad performance and improve our marketing
- Prevent fraud and abuse, secure our systems, and comply with law
Advertising and analytics
We use the following on our sites:
- Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Google Ads (including conversion tracking). Google’s practices are described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout and manage ad settings at myadcenter.google.com.
- Meta Pixel. Meta’s practices are described at facebook.com/privacy/policy. You can manage ad settings at facebook.com/adpreferences.
These tools set cookies and may receive information about your visit, including a hashed version of your email address if you submit one. We do not send your individual assessment answers to any advertising platform.
We do not use your assessment responses, or the fact that you took a marriage assessment, to build advertising audiences, retarget you, or upload you to any advertising platform’s customer list.
Marketing communications
Email. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops marketing email. We may still send you transactional messages about something you requested or purchased.
Text messages. We only text you if you gave us your mobile number and agreed to receive texts. Reply STOP to any message to stop. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. We do not share your phone number or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.
Phone. If you give us a phone number, we or our team may call you about your results and our programs. Tell us to stop and we will.
How we share information
We share with:
- Service providers who work on our behalf: website and form hosting, our customer relationship management platform, email and SMS delivery, scheduling, payment processing, community software, and analytics and advertising platforms. They may only use the information to provide services to us.
- Advertising and analytics platforms, as described above.
- Professional advisors such as lawyers and accountants.
- Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, or property.
- Business transfers: if Empowered Man or its parent company is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Our use of advertising and analytics cookies may be treated as a “sale” or “sharing” for targeted advertising under some state privacy laws. You can opt out using the link in our footer, by emailing support@empoweredman.co, or by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser, which we honor.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information
- Opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing of your information
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights
To make a request, email support@empoweredman.co with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We will verify your identity by matching the information you give us against our records. We respond within 45 days and may extend once when allowed. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject line “Privacy Appeal.”
Cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking cookies may break parts of the Services. Where required by law, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies.
How long we keep information
We keep assessment responses and contact information for as long as your record is active, and after that for as long as needed for our legitimate business purposes, to resolve disputes, and to meet legal obligations. SMS and email consent records are kept at least 5 years.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Services are for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, email support@empoweredman.co and we will delete it.
Where we operate
The Services are intended for users in the United States. Information we collect is processed in the United States.
Not therapy
Empowered Man provides coaching and education. We are not a healthcare provider, and information you share with us is not protected health information under HIPAA. Our team is not bound by therapist-client or doctor-patient confidentiality.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and update the effective date. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email.
